Nxt7a is committed to a workplace that is diverse, equitable and inclusive – where people are treated fairly, differences are valued, and everyone can do their best work. This reflects both our values and our legal obligations.
Applies to all workers and to all stages of the employment relationship: recruitment, terms, development, promotion, and exit. It also informs how we engage with partners and communities.
No discrimination, harassment or victimisation. We do not tolerate discrimination, harassment, sexual harassment, bullying or victimisation on the basis of any protected attribute – including race, colour, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, disability, religion, marital or family status, pregnancy, or Indigenous status.
Positive duty. Consistent with the positive duty under the Sex Discrimination Act 1984 (Cth), we take reasonable and proportionate measures to eliminate sex-based discrimination and harassment, not merely respond to it.
Equity and access. We make reasonable adjustments for workers with disability or other needs, and design our practices to remove barriers rather than assume a single way of working.
Inclusive culture. We expect respectful behaviour from everyone. Inclusion is a shared, everyday responsibility, not a one-off training.
Indigenous inclusion. Given our mission, we are particularly committed to respectful engagement with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and, over time, to building Indigenous participation in our work and governance.
Fair recruitment. We recruit on merit, using inclusive language and processes, and seek to widen rather than narrow our candidate pools.
Concerns may be raised under the Whistleblower & Grievance Policy and will be handled confidentially and fairly. Breaches are addressed under the Code of Conduct, up to termination. We periodically review practices and, where useful, diversity data, to track progress.
Code of Conduct · Employee Handbook · Whistleblower & Grievance Policy · WHS Policy (psychosocial safety).
Review note. The positive duty and protected attributes vary across Commonwealth and state law; confirm coverage for all worker locations and have counsel review.
